Peiris Group is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership across our privately held family office. Reporting directly to the Directors, the Group CFO will have end‑to‑end responsibility for financial strategy, performance, governance and risk across a diverse portfolio of operating businesses, investments and philanthropic entities. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role central to driving financial discipline, scalability and informed decision‑making across the Group. This is a full‑time position based in Perth, with an onsite presence required to support close collaboration with Directors and senior leaders. What you’ll be doing Providing strategic financial leadership and advice to the Directors across all Group entities Leading group‑wide financial strategy, planning, budgeting and forecasting Overseeing consolidated group reporting, cash‑flow management, treasury and working capital Designing, implementing and maintaining robust financial controls, policies and governance frameworks Ensuring accurate, timely and meaningful financial and management reporting Leading financial due diligence, integration and analysis for acquisitions, divestments and investments Supporting valuation modelling, capital structuring and funding strategies Overseeing tax planning, compliance and coordination with external accountants and advisors Monitoring financial performance, risk and operational efficiency across the portfolio Partnering with CEOs and senior leaders to provide commercial insight and decision support Reviewing and optimising financial systems, processes and reporting structures as the Group scales Upholding strict confidentiality, discretion and professionalism at all times What we’re looking for Qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) with substantial senior finance experience Proven experience in a Group CFO, CFO or senior finance leadership role within a multi‑entity environment Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial information into strategic insight Demonstrated experience overseeing complex group structures, including operating entities and investments Experience supporting M&A activity, due diligence, integrations and capital management Excellent financial reporting, analytical and modelling capability High level of integrity, judgement and professional discretion Confident communicator able to engage effectively with Directors, executives and external advisors Highly organised, pragmatic and capable of operating autonomously Collaborative leadership style with a hands‑on, outcomes‑focused approach What we offer Full‑time senior leadership role with real influence Direct access to Directors and senior decision‑makers Exposure to diverse, complex and meaningful commercial activity Opportunity to shape group‑wide financial strategy and long‑term growth A confidential, respectful and values‑driven workplace About us Peiris Group is a privately operated family office managing a range of businesses and projects.
