The team here supports and assists the Australian famer and Global farming operations with minimal machinery down time, keeping them in the paddock producing food for local communities. Worthington Ag Parts are seeking the services of reliable and efficient staff members of whom want to grow within a business and enhance their skill set. We currently have the position of Stores Person available in our Toowoomba QLD branch. This is not just another “Picker/Packer” job This is an opportunity for an existing Store Person to become more versatile and gain greater experience in the role of warehousing, stock management, dispatching and receivals. This role will give the right person promotional opportunities. You will not be contained to a warehouse and the same daily motions Highlights Leave loading, Overtime Pay and Super Promotional opportunities into such roles as sales, parts interpreting, and management Uniform, PPE, and training supplied Staff discounts in store Requirements Must have current Manual Driver’s License Must have Forklift (high risk work) License Experience in warehousing and dispatching recommended but not required A great work attitude with self-motivation and respect Computer, mathematical and reading writing skills Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening This is an essential role within our business. You will be the heart of the branch taking pride in stock presentation, stock control and ensuring the customer obtains the correct part on time every time. Your duties will include but will not be limited to, Duties Daily stock receivals and dispatching of sold parts (picking & packing) Responsible for stock control and participating in daily and quarterly stocktakes Obtaining freight rates while working and building relationships with freight companies Daily pickup and delivery run. Accountable for warehouse cleanliness, organisation and basic maintenance Backing up as required in other areas of the business as practical to do so If you have a passion for warehousing, the AG industry or just wanting to better your current skills with greater long term employment opportunities, than Worthington Ag Parts would love to hear from you.
