Jamieson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of specialised bulk transport services and equipment located in Canning Vale, Western. We provide technical engineering services to Australia's heavy vehicle organisations associated with mining, quarrying, construction and material handling. About the role Jamieson is currently looking for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the Supply Chain team at Jamieson the role is expected to be quite broad. Elements of Procurement, Part Identification and interpretation, Warehouse Management and Inventory Management along with other day to day problem solving will all be encompassed. You will also be supporting our busy workshop team with their daily operations as well as overseeing and driving the establishment of a warehouse space and associated processes. You will need to be able to work autonomously and be confident in your own decision‑making abilities. Attention to detail is crucial as is the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody to set the standard and ‘own their role’ and contribute to a significant ongoing project for Jamieson in Canning Vale. Responsibilities Ensuring all warehouse activities are carried out safely and responsibly. Sourcing and establishing a local supplier network. Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase orders, working closely with workshop staff and engineers regarding parts supply. All warehousing functions including, but not limited to, Goods Receipt, Put Away, Goods Issue, Stock Control and Booking Transport. Interpretation and processing Bills of Material for local production. Time‑management: Adhere to project timelines, deadlines and self‑manage. Skills and Experience 2+ years experience working in a similar warehouse environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Strong aptitude to IT systems Excellent communication skills, proficient in written and reading English, able to effectively communicate at all levels within the business. Multi‑tasking skill and ability to maintain an organised warehouse.
