DIPLOMA EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR- FULL TIME Woodrising Natural Learning Centre – Woodrising NSW Woodrising Natural Learning Centre is a non-profit, long day care centre situated in beautiful Lake Macquarie. We cater for 39 children per day, aged 2-6 years. The centre proudly maintains an Exceeding NQS rating, with 6 out of 7 quality areas Exceeding as of March 2024. Our centre has a beautiful natural, outdoor environment with a large, natural playground - complete with a trickle stream, mud pit, chickens, gardens and much more We back on to bush land and implement a regular 'Bush School' program where we spend whole days in the bush land. We are passionate about providing an inquiry based curriculum for children. We are inspired by various theories and approaches including European Forest Schools and the educational approach in Reggio Emilia, Italy. We have a commitment to ongoing professional development. We are seeking a motivated professional who is passionate about providing a high quality program to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, passion for the natural world and work harmoniously within a team. Training on Nature Connection is provided. The only requirements are: you are comfortable outdoors all year-round, enjoy bushwalks and outdoor bush excursions. Full Time Diploma Early Childhood Educator . This is a programming position. The position will commence on Monday 5th January 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
