Advertising Specialist

Trovato creates and produces advertising, newspaper and magazine ads, Out of Home, billboards, bus wraps and sides, trams, activation, as well as producing digital animation for national TV network - Channel 7. The full‑time position as an Advertising Specialist will be part of the small team of 7 people at a graphic design studio in North Sydney. This role is primarily managing, planning, organising and coordinating the day‑to‑day advertising requirements and graphic design team on a variety of clients as well as managing the client relationship between Channel 7 and Trovato. The role will include a lot of daily communication involved with the core Channel 7 marketing and trade team consisting of approximately 8 to 10 people to meet their advertising needs. Responsibilities Daily client service meetings with the client’s team to go through advertising jobs, deadlines and deliverables for the graphic design team to produce. Planning, directing, coordinating and managing our Creative Director and the team on sale strategies, targets and promotions to maximise consumption. Recording and entering jobs using Trello system for tracking and coordination and to maintain conjunction with client to traffic all projects. Communication with Media Houses regarding deadlines, advertising specifications and requirements for out of home advertising. Dispatching final artwork files to newspapers / magazines and suppliers. Occasional face‑to‑face meetings with clients. Requirements Have a relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification or at least 5 years full‑time work experience in the Marketing, Advertising or Media Industry. At least 2 years’ work experience within the Marketing/Advertising industry. Knowledge or experience in Advertising and understanding of terminology is essential. Exceptional communication skills between client and graphic design team. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
