About the role The Regional Sales Manager – NSW & QLD is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong relationships with key clients, and expanding Duravit’s presence across the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors in both states. The role involves managing and supporting distributors, retailers, and specification partners while identifying new business opportunities to increase Duravit’s market share. This position requires a commercially driven, design-oriented professional with a passion for premium brands and experience in the building products industry. About you Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or account management within the building, plumbing, or design industry. Proven success in managing relationships with distributors, retailers, and/or the A&D community. Strong understanding of commercial and residential project sales processes. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Design, or related field (preferred but not required). Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development Achieve and exceed sales targets for NSW and QLD through proactive account and territory management. Identify and develop new business opportunities across retail, project, and specification channels. Manage pricing, quotations, and negotiations to ensure profitable growth. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategic planning. 2. Account Management & Customer Support Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors, retailers, and project partners. Support customers with product knowledge, technical information, and after‑sales service. Conduct regular customer visits, joint calls, and showroom training sessions. Drive sell‑through and brand visibility at retail and project levels. 3. Specification & Project Engagement Collaborate with the Specification Manager to secure Duravit product inclusion in major residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Support architects, designers, and developers with technical data, samples, and presentations. Ensure smooth coordination from specification through to delivery and installation. 4. Reporting & Administration Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions in CRM systems. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the General Manager. Manage territory budgets effectively, ensuring cost‑efficient operations. 5. Brand Representation & Marketing Support Represent Duravit at trade fairs, design events, and customer functions. Collaborate with the marketing team on regional campaigns, promotions, and product launches. Ensure Duravit brand standards are upheld in all customer‑facing activities.
