Overview How You’ll Make an Impact We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team to leverage data and algorithms to generate business value specifically in Epsilon Retail Media Onsite. To this purpose, the ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning , optimisation and AI. What You’ll Achieve Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models, optimisation algorithms, and other data-driven solutions for advertising and retail analytics. Build and optimize semantic search solutions using embeddings (e.g., BERT, Sentence Transformers), vector similarity (e.g., cosine similarity), and related AI models Design and deploy integrated solutions using foundational-AI (e.g. Google Gemini) Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate business requirements into analytical projects. Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization. Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Who You Are What You’ll Bring with You: 3+years of experience in data science, analytics, machine learning or AI. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and key NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, HuggingFace Transformers, scikit-learn) Hands-on experience with embedding models (e.g., Word2Vec, BERT, Sentence Transformers) and semantic similarity techniques Strong statistical analysis, problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Autonomy & Impact Expected to independently manage own workload with minimal supervision, take ownership, be accountable and resourceful, act on feedback. Empowered to propose and implement new analytical approaches that drive measurable business outcomes. Preferred/Bonus Skills Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP, AWS). Knowledge of retail-media or digital advertising ecosystems. Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
