Davidson Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia We are seeking two Data Engineers and one Business Analyst for a federal government data modernisation program. These roles will support new Power BI dashboards and the transition from an on‑premises data warehouse to a cloud environment. Applicants must be Australian citizens. Data Engineer / Data Scientist (x2) Build data models for Power BI dashboards Perform ETL and prepare datasets for reporting Develop technical documentation Set up Power BI workspaces and publish dashboards Design and implement visualisations Establish data quality checks and validation processes Support technical testing Review existing QLIK products and update code Assist the transition to cloud storage Strong SQL Power BI (DAX and/or M) Data modelling Experience with large datasets Clear communication for non‑technical audiences Business Analyst (x1) Gather and document business requirements Develop technical specifications and business rules Create SOPs, user guides and source‑to‑target maps Define testing criteria and support UAT Lead stakeholder engagement and issue resolution Requirements gathering and documentation Stakeholder engagement Experience with data or reporting projects Details APS6 equivalent Federal government contract 30‑week engagement, with two optional 3‑month extensions Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week Canberra or Brisbane Hybrid work, minimum one day in office each week Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance If you have experience in data engineering, data analysis or business analysis within reporting, BI or data migration environments, we would like to hear from you.
