Location: Smithfield, NSW Immediate Start | Permanent Full-Time / Part-Time MPES Group Aust Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company, specialising in electrical design and subcontracting for large-scale commercial and high‑rise building projects across Sydney. We are currently seeking a Junior Electrical Draftsperson to join our growing Engineering and Design Team. This role offers hands‑on experience in electrical design and documentation for commercial projects, making it ideal for someone with a technical foundation who is looking to develop a career in the building services industry. Key Responsibilities Prepare and update electrical documentation including single‑line diagrams, lighting layouts, power distribution, and containment systems using Revit, AutoCAD and Autodesk Bim360. Assist engineers with electrical load calculations, equipment schedules, and compliance documentation in accordance with Australian Standards and NSW Service Rules. Coordinate designs with other disciplines and contribute to resolving site or construction‑related issues. Liaise with project managers, site teams, and engineers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project stages. Support senior engineers with project administration, drawing revisions, and client deliverables. About You Software: Proficient in Revit (at least 6 months experience ), with working knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Bim360 and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook). Knowledge: Basic understanding of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3017, and general electrical distribution in commercial buildings. Attributes: Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
