Harm reduction services manager

Lead NUAA’s BBV harm‑reduction programs across NSW. Oversee program planning, risk management, evaluation and quality improvement. Manage staff supervision, wellbeing and development. Build partnerships with LHDs, community organisations and research partners. Drive the design and implementation of the new Western Sydney NSP. Ensure compliance with all NUAA policies, procedures and legislative frameworks. Contribute to organisational strategy, funding proposals and continuous improvement. Requirements Essential selection criteria for this role are: Brings lived and/or living experience of drug use and deep understanding of BBV and harm reduction. Has at least five years’ experience in harm reduction, community or public health services. Is a confident leader and mentor with proven program and staff management experience. Can think strategically and translate ideas into operational outcomes. Understands partnership‑building across the community and health sectors. Can manage budgets, contracts and compliance with professionalism and integrity. Holds a current driver’s licence and can travel within NSW. Experience establishing or re‑establishing community health services in collaboration with Local Health Districts. Relevant tertiary qualifications (health, community services or management).
