About The Position Under the guidance of the Trial Coordinator and Chief Investigators, including the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high‑quality research for the externally funded, multi‑agency project “The Optimal Implementation of Antimicrobial Stewardship in General Practice” (OPTIMAS‑GP), which aims to reduce inappropriate antibiotic prescribing and combat antimicrobial resistance. In this role, you will work collaboratively with research staff across multiple national trial sites ensuring consistent processes and effective communication across the project. You will also support general project administration, including data quality assurance, secure storage, and access, in compliance with relevant ethical and institutional guidelines. Requirements Evidence of producing high‑quality reports or research relevant publications. Experience in working in a research‑related team environment. Experience working in the higher education and/or healthcare sectors in Australia. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including cultural sensitivity and the ability to communicate information effectively to a wider audience in both written and oral formats. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Salary and Benefits The salary for this 0.8 FTE position commences at $57,550.77 per annum (Full‑time Equivalent is $71,938.46 per annum) plus 12% superannuation per annum. The fixed term of this employment contract will be for up to 2 years, with 12 months' probation. The prospect of conversion to a continuing employment contract will be discussed at the end of the contract term.
