Role Overview We are looking for an LV mechanic with at least 15 years of experience in various jobs within the field. Our small team has mixed mechanical backgrounds and works on a wide range of vehicles, from European/German models to Australian, Japanese, and Korean cars. We also handle high demand for small 6‑tonne truck repairs, so experience with these trucks would be highly considered, but not essential. We pride ourselves on quality work over quantity and seek someone who enjoys working within a team while capable of working individually. The ideal candidate has the experience and knowledge to accurately diagnose issues, with good problem‑solving skills, patience, and adaptability to handle various tedious jobs. Essential experience includes clutch replacements, water pump/timing belt replacements, and various other LV replacements. The candidate should be able to perform an oil cooler repair on a Mercedes ML350 one day and a clutch replacement on a Nissan Patrol the next day. Our workshop is well equipped with multiple hoists and plenty of space for individual work stations. Any additional equipment the team requires is happily provided. Work week is based on over 40hrs/week with opportunity for overtime and many incentives. We offer flexible starting and finishing times to suit personal lives. Our office is open from 8am – 6pm, and mechanics can start early or finish early, start late or finish late. This role is for Australian citizens and permanent resident applicants. Qualifications At least 15 years of experience in LV repairs, demonstrated ability to diagnose accurately, problem‑solving skills, patience, adaptability, experience with EU, German, Australian, Japanese, Korean vehicles, and ability to work individually and within a team.
