Senior Property Finance Analyst

As the Senior Property Finance Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the growth of a newly established private credit business, focused on providing finance to private property developers and investors across Australia. You’ll help identify and analyse lending opportunities, build strong relationships across the property finance ecosystem, and provide guidance to Tokyo colleagues on the nuances of the Australian market. INCLUDED IN WHAT YOU'LL DO: Support the Head of Property Finance in building a strong pipeline of loan opportunities through relationships with brokers, lenders and property developers Conduct detailed analysis and assessments of potential lending transactions, highlighting key risks and mitigants Prepare high-quality credit submissions for internal and Tokyo Head Office review Liaise with internal stakeholders including Treasury, Legal and Finance, as well as external partners such as solicitors, valuers and quantity surveyors Provide education and insights to Tokyo Head Office on Australian real estate finance practices Monitor active development transactions, including attendance at Project Control Group meetings and managing monthly drawdowns Contribute to the development of underwriting and compliance standards as the business matures WHAT YOU HAVE: You’re an analytical and commercially minded professional with a solid foundation in property lending or credit risk. You thrive in environments where no two days are the same and enjoy the mix of operational delivery, relationship building and project work that comes with helping grow a new business function.
