Overview Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems role at Entura. Entura is a specialist power and water consulting firm, uniquely positioned as both asset owner and consultant. Responsibilities The role involves reviewing work of more junior team members, providing technical support, maintaining relationships with existing clients and acting as the interface between Entura and the client. You will act as the Technical Lead for connection application studies, Generator Performance Standards (GPS) compliance assessments, model overlays and model validation in PSSE and PSCAD, and project management of smaller projects. Qualifications 7+ years’ experience. Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering. Practical experience of 7+ years, predominantly in the space of grid connections, GPS compliance assessments, power system studies. Undertaken testing either on site or virtually (e.g. via Teams screenshare) desirable but not essential. Ideally CPEng, RPEQ, RPEV credentials. Able to diagnose and trouble-shoot independently (both in software PSSE, PSCAD, Python, etc as well as technical issues, i.e. understand the underlying real world physics). Modeling software experience using: PSSE PSCAD essential Powerfactory SINCAL highly desired Python and Matlab highly desired Why Work with Entura?
