Australian Drafting & Design – Sydney CBD NSW ELECTRICAL DESIGNERS / DRAFTERS – MICROSTATION & AUTOCAD – Sydney-NSW Australian Drafting & Design Pty Ltd has exciting opportunities for experienced Electrical Designers / Drafters in Sydney NSW . We currently have 3 positions available : 1 x Senior Electrical Designer/Drafter (MicroStation & AutoCAD) 2 x Electrical Drafters with 3–5 years’ experience About the role Working across a range of projects, you will be responsible for preparing and updating electrical drawings and documentation using MicroStation and AutoCAD , ensuring accuracy, quality and timely delivery. Key responsibilities Prepare preliminary and detailed drawings. Update and modify existing drawings from PDF mark-ups . Produce drawings efficiently using MicroStation (and AutoCAD where required). Ensure all drawings are completed on time and to a high standard. Work with minimal supervision while communicating effectively with the broader team. Maintain and promote a safe working environment and a strong service culture. What you’ll bring For the Senior role : solid experience as an Electrical Designer/Drafter using MicroStation (AutoCAD experience highly regarded) Substation Experience will be an advantage. For the Drafter roles : 3–5 years’ experience in an electrical drafting environment using MicroStation . Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excel skills will be an advantage. Willingness to learn – some training will be provided.
