We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer based in either our Sydney or Melbourne office who takes an AI-first approach to develop software. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain high-quality applications that support NetComm’s telecommunications product portfolio. You will make disciplined use of AI coding tools to enhance productivity, improve code quality, and accelerate innovation - while maintaining rigorous engineering standards, documentation, and security practices. WHAT WILL BE YOUR FOCUS? Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications supporting NetComm’s product ecosystem. Apply structured software engineering practices, including code review, testing, and version control. Use agentic AI coding tools to accelerate development, documentation, and testing activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and validation. Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and best practices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern development frameworks and responsible AI-assisted coding techniques. WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR IN YOU? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Relevant experience as a software engineer working across both front-end and back-end environments. Strong proficiency in one or more modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue (front-end) and Node.js or Python (back-end). Experience with RESTful APIs, database design (SQL/NoSQL), and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with AI code development backend models (e.g. Claude Sonnet/Opus, Qwen Coder, GPT-5) and agentic coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, AmpCode, Kilo Code, etc). Strong understanding of software design patterns, testing methodologies, and source control. Experience working in telecommunications and knowledge of networking technologies would be advantageous. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A responsible and security‑aware approach to using AI tools in software development. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
