Overview Job Description for Westpac: Manager, Continuous Improvement & Change, Group Performance & Analytics. Permanent and 12 month Fixed Term Contract opportunities. Sydney based. Hybrid working model. What’s the role? The Manager - Continuous Improvement & Change, Group Performance & Analytics role is responsible for supporting transformation and continuous improvement initiatives within both immediate GP&A team activities and key financial processes that span across the wider finance job family. A key deliverable for the role is to understand, document, assess, and challenge a range of finance processes, systems, and capabilities, while considering stakeholder needs, limitations, and overall business objectives. With a change- and risk-first mindset, you will conduct appropriate impact assessments on financial systems, processes, and teams to develop change initiatives that deliver business value. You will also be partnering with broader Group Finance teams, as well as Divisional, Functional, and Line of Business (LOB) teams, to ensure appropriate outcomes for Finance and deliver the required business performance. What do I need? Banking or financial services experience, working towards or Chartered / CPA qualification desirable Strong understanding of CI and transformation project management, including activities such as risk and RACI design, thorough impact assessments and testing, gap analysis, and solution / process redesign. Lean Six Sigma certification desirable Demonstrated experience as a business analyst gathering, analysing and challenging business requirements, within a financial reporting context. Ability to inform, engage and follow up with stakeholders to drive positive outcomes Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project deliverables within agreed timelines Why join us?
