The Creative Store Australia provides the pay range for this Junior Front‑End Developer position. A$50,000.00/yr – A$75,000.00/yr Junior Front End Developer Our client, an independent creative agency in Surry Hills, is looking for a highly creative Junior Front‑End Developer to join their full‑time team. This role offers competitive salary based on experience and a collaborative, supportive creative environment. What You Will Do Build responsive, performant web applications using modern front‑end technologies Create eye‑catching web banners and interactive digital advertisements Develop immersive 3D experiences and WebGL animations (Three.js or R3F) Collaborate closely with designers and back‑end developers to deliver seamless user experiences Implement engaging animations and micro‑interactions using leading animation libraries Bring creative concepts to life with polished, production‑ready code Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews Stay up‑to‑date with the latest front‑end trends, tools, and best practices Required Skills & Experience 1–2+ years’ experience in a creative, digital, or studio environment Experience with React (hooks, component lifecycle, fundamentals) Exposure to Next.js (routing, SSR/SSG concepts) Animation experience using GSAP, Framer Motion, or similar libraries Understanding of responsive, mobile‑first development and CSS frameworks (Tailwind, CSS Modules, etc.) Version control experience (Git/GitHub) Nice to Have Experience or interest in Three.js, WebGL, or R3F Understanding of front‑end performance optimisation Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD Understanding of accessibility best practices Portfolio or GitHub showcasing interactive or creative personal projects What the Role Can Offer Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for ongoing learning and professional development A collaborative and supportive creative team environment We’d love to see your creative potential.
