Food Processing/Operating Dicing machine J L King are a locally owned and operated food Manufacturing Business. We are currently looking for someone to work within our food dicing area The Dicing Operator is responsible for preparing, cutting, and dicing food products according to company specifications in a low-risk production area. This role ensures that all products meet quality, safety, and hygiene standards while maintaining efficient production flow. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor dicing machinery safely and efficiently. Ensure products are diced to the correct size, weight, and appearance. Conduct visual quality checks to identify defects or foreign materials. Handle food materials in accordance with low-risk area hygiene and safety protocols. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), cleaning schedules, and allergen control measures. Record production data, including batch numbers, equipment checks, and temperature logs. Always maintain a clean and organized workstation. Report any machinery faults, contamination risks, or product issues immediately. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Requirements Previous experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment preferred. Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices (HACCP awareness). Ability to operate machinery safely and follow written instructions. Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Physically fit for manual handling and repetitive tasks. Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime as required. Food Handling Certificate or equivalent qualification. Experience working in a low-risk food area (e.g., raw ingredient processing). Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements. Low-risk area (handling raw or partially processed foods, not ready-to-eat). Moderate noise, cool temperature, and fast-paced environment.
