Overview Austin Education is a leading educational institution specialising in comprehensive tutoring services for students from Year 1 to Year 12. Since our establishment in late 2013, we have been dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth in our students. Our team consists of 40 full-time staff and over 300 part-time and casual professionals, including subject teachers, teaching assistants, and academic advisors. With campuses in Box Hill, Mt Waverley, Melbourne CBD, Point Cook (Victoria), and Adelaide (South Australia), we provide accessible, high-quality learning environments for both staff and students. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to join our team and provide exceptional educational support to primary and secondary school students. If you have a strong educational background, excellent communication skills, and a desire to empower students to reach their full potential, this opportunity is for you Position Primary and Secondary Education Tutors (Casual role with potential progression to full-time) Scholarship English and Selective school English VCE Literature What You'll Do Deliver engaging lessons in one-on-one or small-group formats, tailored to each learner’s strengths and goals. Collaborate with other teams to ensure continuity in learning and support the integration of tutoring sessions. Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and educational best practices to enhance teaching methods and approaches. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student confidence and academic growth. Who You Are Demonstrated expertise in English through advanced coursework, high academic achievement, or relevant teaching experience. Holder of (or eligible for) a WWCC or VIT registration. Comfortable working after school and on weekends. Experienced (or eager) in tutoring or teaching primary/secondary students. Familiar with the Victorian curriculum and VCAA study design, with the ability to adapt your approach for diverse learners. Patient, empathetic, and an outstanding communicator - able to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
