Join the Northern Beaches Medical Centre team, where we provide urgent, high-quality care alongside the Emergency Department to help ease hospital demand. We’re building a flexible pool of Specialist GPs who can step in when needed – whether to cover sick or holiday leave, or to help with our weekend roster. Regular weekend shifts are also available for those seeking ongoing work in a dynamic, ED‑adjacent environment. Selection Criteria Vocationally Registered as a Specialist General Practitioner Unrestricted 19AB, or doctors subject to section 19AB restrictions with an existing medical schooln Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Regular weekend shifts available, and availability to fill in during the week when needed due to leave or illness. Further Information All GPs are credentialed as VMO’s of Northern Beaches Hospital and are paid a sessional rate i.e. the GP’s income is not linked to billing. Patients present to Northern Beaches Medical Centre on a walk‑in basis and are bulk‑billed. Northern Beaches Medical Centre is open 7 days per week. High quality facility including on‑site pathology/radiology, pharmacy, specialist rooms and ample parking. Onsite nursing support.
