We’re on the hunt for a Group Paid Media Director (Lead Generation) to drive the future of our paid media offering and keep us ahead in an increasingly fast‑paced, ever‑changing landscape. This role is perfect for someone with 8+ years’ experience in paid media , ideally with a strong focus on lead generation sectors. You’ll bring proven expertise across paid search, paid social, and broader media strategy — paired with a strong point of view on the future of performance marketing. You’ll be a senior leader in a 35+ strong media team, mentoring team members, shaping forecasts, contributing to new business and developing client strategies. You’ll have senior responsibility while staying close to the work - inspiring and empowering a high‑performing team through clarity, collaboration and leading by example. Day to Day You'll: Lead the strategic direction of Jaywing’s paid media offering for lead generation, ensuring excellence across paid search, paid social, and broader acquisition strategy. Inspire, mentor and empower a high‑performing media team, leading with conviction, curiosity and collaboration. Oversee audits, media plans and growth strategies that connect media, creative and customer experience to deliver measurable outcomes. Set and uphold best‑practice standards across campaign design, optimisation, measurement and reporting. Drive new business growth through data‑led strategies, forecasts and innovative proposals. Champion innovation and continuous improvement, evolving Jaywing’s lead generation processes and use of technology. Partner with SEO, Social, Creative, CRO and Data teams to ensure an integrated, high‑performing approach to acquisition. What You’ll Bring: 8+ years’ experience in a senior Paid Media role, with a proven track record in lead generation strategy and delivery. Deep expertise in Paid Search and Paid Social (Google Ads, Meta, and other major platforms), with hands‑on understanding of campaign structure, optimisation and automation. Strong knowledge of lead generation ecosystems, including offline conversion tracking, CRM integration, email marketing and landing page performance. Demonstrated success leading and developing high‑performing teams. Skilled in forecasting, performance modelling and investment planning for acquisition‑driven clients. Advanced understanding of analytics, attribution and measurement frameworks, including GA4 and platform reporting tools. Experience optimising processes and team operations to drive consistency, efficiency and innovation. Is both strategic and hands‑on — equally confident setting direction and diving into detail. Leads with conviction, empathy and emotional intelligence, creating calm and confidence under pressure. Builds strong relationships and fosters trust across teams and clients. Is highly organised, accountable and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Encourages curiosity and continuous improvement.
