Day to day you’ll: Lead the strategic direction of Jaywing’s retail and eCommerce paid media offering, driving excellence across paid search, paid social, and broader commerce media strategy. Inspire, mentor, and empower a high-performing media team - leading with conviction, curiosity, and collaboration while staying close to the work. Oversee the creation audits, media plans, and growth strategies that align media, creative, and customer experience to deliver measurable revenue outcomes. Set and uphold best‑practice standards across campaign design, optimisation, measurement, and reporting – grounded in a deep understanding of platform fundamentals, product feeds, and performance data. Partner with SEO, Creative, CRO, and Data teams to deliver fully integrated strategies that maximise performance across every customer touchpoint. Drive new business growth by developing innovative strategies, forecasts, and proposals that demonstrate commercial acumen and measurable results. Champion innovation and continuous improvement – evolving Jaywing’s commerce media capabilities, processes, and adoption of emerging technologies. We’re looking for someone who: Has 8+ years’ experience in senior Paid Media roles, with a proven track record in retail and eCommerce performance marketing. Brings deep expertise across Paid Search and Paid Social (Google Ads, Meta, and other major platforms), with hands‑on understanding of campaign structure, optimisation, and automation. Understands eCommerce ecosystems – from shopping feeds, product catalogues, and data layers to CDPs, tracking setups, and feed optimisation. Has experience managing omnichannel retail strategies that connect online, in‑store, and marketplace performance. Demonstrates success leading and developing high‑performing teams, ensuring strategic excellence and quality delivery through others. Is skilled in forecasting, performance modelling, and investment planning to optimise ROAS and growth. Has an advanced understanding of analytics, attribution, and measurement frameworks (ROAS, LTV, GA4, GMP, and eCommerce tracking). Bonus points for retail media or affiliate experience.
