Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner – Christies Beach Location: Christies Beach, South Australia, Australia. Employment type: Full-time. Seniority level: Mid‑Senior. We are seeking an experienced practitioner for a full‑time role based at our Christies Beach office. The role supports clients with complex needs and requires a self‑directed, solution‑focused professional who can work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Manage a varied clinical caseload with diverse client goals. Apply evidence‑based strategies to reduce clients’ reliance on behaviours of concern, aiming to fade out restrictive practices. Work collaborately within a multidisciplinary team. Ensure compliance with NDIS and organisational standards. Contribute to service innovation and quality improvement. Qualifications & Experience Show evidence of applying and evaluating Positive Behaviour Support interventions, including Functional Behaviour Assessments and Behaviour Support Plans. Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to meet diverse client needs. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Sound time‑management and organisational abilities. Proficiency in documentation and compliance with NDIS standards. Familiarity with and commitment to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework. Education & Registration Relevant graduate or postgraduate qualification in allied health or related field (e.g., Developmental Education, Behaviour Analyst, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychological Science, Behavioural Science, or a postgraduate certificate in Positive Behaviour Support). Registered as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission. Self‑assessed and supervisor‑endorsed at Core Practitioner level or above (preferred). Registration with AHPRA or the relevant discipline board (if applicable). Current First Aid certificate (desirable). Working with Children and NDIS Worker Checks. Valid driver's licence and willingness to use own vehicle. We’re serious about safeguarding our clients.
