About Us: PLNTD, an innovative and rapidly expanding leader in the medicinal cannabis industry, is seeking experienced and compassionate General Practitioners based in Australia to join our telehealth team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive patient consultations, develop personalised treatment plans, and, where appropriate, integrate medicinal cannabis therapies into your practice. Prior experience with medicinal cannabis prescribing is beneficial but not required. We provide full training and support to equip you with the necessary certification and knowledge to confidently prescribe medicinal cannabis to your patients. What You Can Expect: Flexibility : We are currently seeking GPs available during weekdays from 8 am to 10 pm, with weekend hours becoming available soon. Choose your own hours to suit your lifestyle Work from Home : Experience the convenience of working remotely from the comfort of your own home, as part of a fully telehealth clinic. Comprehensive Training and Support : Access all the education, guidance, and resources needed to offer informed, ethical patient care, including ongoing professional development. Requirements: Full and unrestricted registration as a General Practitioner in Australia. AHPRA registration and the authority to prescribe Schedule 8 medications. While knowledge of medicinal cannabis is desirable, we offer thorough training for candidates eager to learn. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong patient relationships, deliver empathetic care, and explain complex medical concepts in an accessible manner.
