The opportunity Working as Senior Consultant in the Forensic Consulting team within the Financial Advisory Division, you will be assigned tasks in the technical areas of an engagement or project to assist in the completion of client service work. You will be responsible for knowing and understanding the Firm’s service approach, professional requirements and lines of business; and will receive ongoing training in Forensic, Dispute Litigation and Valuation Assignments. Key responsibilities of the role Use Excel and other tools to analyse financial information, including loss and damage assessments Review financial data and identify any missing information needed for analysis Interpret accounting, financial and banking records Check financial statements to ensure they meet Australian Accounting Standards Research companies and industries using Capital IQ and other sources Prepare reports and presentations outlining your findings and recommendations Meet and work with clients, including lawyers and finance professionals Build your project management skills Supervise and support junior team members Take part in networking and marketing activities Help senior team members with new business opportunities The successful applicant The role will suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes: 3-6 years of experience working in either a top-tier or mid-tier professional services firm Experience in either forensics / dispute litigations / valuations / audit / private clients Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management and organisational skills Able to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently Detail oriented Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills High proficiency in MS Excel Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines What's on offer You will be working with a really friendly and supportive team who enjoy working cohesively.
