Deep dive into the lifespan of International Business practices | Helping Partners Build Smart Data/AI Infrastructure Role Description This is a full-time role located in the Greater Sydney Area. The Solution Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting QNAP’s technical sales efforts, partner enablement, and post-deployment optimization across ANZ. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, driving solution adoption through strategic engagement with system integrators (SI), managed service providers (MSP), and enterprise customers. Key Responsibilities Lead technical response for bids and RFPs, deliver technical validation, competitive positioning, and PoC process Prepare solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and technical pitch decks tailored to vertical use cases Collaborate with Account Managers to convert opportunities into successful deployments Lead technical scoping and architecture validation for complex deployments involving NAS, NVR, virtualization, backup and edge AI Collaborate with SI/MSP partners during implementation to ensure solution integrity and performance tuning Act as technical liaison between ANZ field and HQ product/R&D teams for escalated issues and roadmap feedback Develop and deliver advanced technical enablement sessions for partner engineers Create and maintain ANZ-specific technical documentation Participate in product beta testing and contribute structured feedback to HQ for ANZ market adaptation Assist customers and partners with advanced integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Document best practices and contribute to local knowledge base Coordinate with HQ support and R&D teams for escalated technical issues Knowledge Comprehensive expertise in NAS, NVR, RAID configurations, backup and virtualization, with proficiency in networking. Demonstrated ability to design solutions tailored to vertical industries and across SMB/enterprise environments. Knowledge of ANZ enterprise IT landscape and vertical solution requirements Hands‑on experience supporting technical proposals and solution design for bids, including RFP/RFI responses and compliance mapping Skill Solution design and technical presentation skills Ability to translate business needs into technical architectures Skilled in PoC execution, performance benchmarking, and competitive analysis Effective communicator across technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to use a second language (Chinese) will be a plus Technically curious and solution-oriented Proactive and responsive to partner and customer needs Collaborative across sales, marketing, and HQ teams Committed to continuous learning and technical excellence About QNAP QNAP Inc. is the global leading storage system provider.
