Occupational Therapy - Allied Health Assistant, Queensland Health Temporary part time opportunity to provide clinical support to assist the Occupational Therapy team in the provision of effective and confidential, patient care services across Allied Health and its environments, including the Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services, surgical inpatients and outpatient services. About You Maintain relevant clinical documentation and collection of statistics in accordance with organisational guidelines. Provide a defined range of clinical screening assessments and interventions for patients of the allied health service, as delegated by an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist. Provide basic education on a defined range of topics to patients or groups of patients. Initiate changes to treatment programs under the direction of the health professional using results from standardised assessment and treatment interventions. Lead group treatment sessions together with an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, including providing feedback to the referring health professional on individual and group performance.
