Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west, known for its stunning beaches, internationally significant wetlands, and some of Australia’s most spectacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife. SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth. The successful applicant/s will be responsible for providing a high quality, social work service to all inpatient and outpatients of the hospital as required including assessment, treatment, evaluation and planning and manages a designated case load. As part of a multidisciplinary team provides Social Work services to patients. Facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. Practices as a Social Worker as per the Australian Association of Social Workers Practice Standards 2013 and Code of Ethics 2010 and/or the Society of Professional Social Workers Code of Ethics and SMHS Policies and Guidelines.
