Role Overview We are recruiting for a capable and motivated Account Executive to join a Commercial Insurance team based in Perth CBD. This position will suit a broker with solid experience in SME and commercial insurance who is ready to take the next step in their career, working closely with an Account Manager while managing their own portfolio. You will be responsible for servicing and renewing a busy book of commercial clients, supporting day‑to‑day broking activity and building trusted client relationships. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of industries and risk profiles within a fast‑paced and evolving environment. The role centres on managing renewals, endorsements, amendments, and supporting client placements across a diverse SME and commercial client portfolio. Responsibilities Deliver renewals, endorsements, amendments and policy administration for a busy commercial client portfolio. Support the Account Manager with client engagement, placement strategy and ongoing service. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, meeting regularly to understand their needs and provide tailored advice. Engage with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms and timely outcomes. Manage a high‑volume workload accurately and efficiently, demonstrating strong attention to detail. Adapt to new systems, processes and technology as the business continues to evolve. Candidate Profile You will be a Commercial or SME Account Executive or Broker with experience across commercial insurance. A strong understanding of the end‑to‑end broking process is essential, along with the confidence to manage your own portfolio and client relationships. You will be professional, organised and comfortable working in a fast‑paced commercial environment. Strong communication skills are critical, with the ability to engage confidently with clients of varying sizes and industries. A Tier 1 qualification is required, with solid system experience and a willingness to embrace new technology. Candidates from suburban or smaller brokerages are encouraged to apply, particularly those seeking structure, development and long‑term progression.
