Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor to join our team as a Workers Compensation Specialist. This unique role offers a blend of remote and in-practice work, providing flexibility and a diverse working environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients involved in workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents Evaluate and manage both physical and psychological effects of injuries Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, psychologists, and occupational therapists Prepare detailed medical reports for insurance and legal purposes Participate in ongoing professional development related to occupational medicine and injury management Engage in telehealth consultations for remote patient care Qualifications and Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree Full registration with the Medical Board of Australia Strong interest in occupational medicine and injury management Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfort with technology for telehealth consultations Empathetic approach to patient care Experience No prior experience in workers' compensation required – Willingness to learn and adapt to the specialized field of occupational medicine.
