Position Overview: We're seeking a Marketing Website Optimisation Engineer to be the technical engine behind our website experimentation and personalisation strategies. You will be the key implementation partner for the marketing team, transforming acquisition journey ideas into functional, high-quality code. You will be responsible for the hands‑on‑keyboard build, deployment, and maintenance of all A/B tests and personalisation campaigns, working in close collaboration with our marketing, product, and data teams. You drive measurable improvements by combining your technical skill with a deep understanding of marketing goals. You are the technical owner of our Martech stack (including our A/B testing and personalisation platforms), ensuring our experiments are built flawlessly, our data is captured accurately, and our website delivers a fast, best‑in‑class experience for all users. What you'll do: Build and deploy experiments: Own the end‑to‑end technical implementation of A/B and multivariate tests using our A/B testing platform. Build and deploy rapid iterations in visual tools, using surgical code updates to ensure every variation loads instantly and smoothly with high accessibility. Implement Personalisation Journeys: Be the technical expert for our personalisation and journey orchestration engine. Translate marketing segmentation playbooks into technical rules and build real‑time, 1:1 personalised experiences on our website. Own Martech Implementation: Act as the primary technical owner for our client‑side marketing stack. Manage scripts, debug tool conflicts, and monitor the performance impact of all marketing technologies. Ensure Data & Instrumentation: Implement and validate tracking for all experiments. Work closely with the data team to ensure conversion events in our testing platforms, personalisation engine, and GA4 are firing accurately, providing trustworthy data for analysis. If you believe you have the skills to succeed in this role, even if you don't meet every single requirement, we'd still love to hear from you Experience 4+ years in a technical, hands‑on role such as Front‑End Developer, Technical Web Analyst, or Marketing Engineer. Design thinking You love design and understand the psychology behind why people love specific websites. You thrive on creating intuitive layouts that help users find information effortlessly, and you believe that good design is crucial to a product's success. Marketing‑Technology Platform Expert Deep, hands‑on‑keyboard experience with one of more enterprise level A/B testing platforms (VWO, Optimizely, AB Tasty). Front‑End Technologies High proficiency in modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with front‑end frameworks (like Vue or React) is a major plus. Personalisation Tool Experience Hands‑on experience with one or more personalisation and journey orchestration engines (Insider, Dynamic Yield, Monetate). Web Analytics Pro Strong, practical experience with Google Analytics (GA4) & Google Tag Manager (GTM), especially for implementing and debugging conversion tracking and custom events. Data‑Driven Builder You don't just build, you care about the results. You understand how to link your code directly to marketing KPIs (like conversion rates, CVR, and CPL). Detail‑Oriented A passion for pixel‑perfect execution, cross‑browser compatibility, and bug‑free launches. Collaborative Problem Solver Skilled at working with non‑technical stakeholders (like marketers) and technical partners (like product engineers) to find the best path forward.
