About the Role You will be designing and detailing roof trusses, wall frames, floor systems and structural steel for residential and commercial dwellings. Key Responsibilities Working and communicating with engineers and architects to achieve positive outcomes Producing shop drawings with all required information, notes and details Peer check jobs as required Working and communicating as a team Identifying errors in designs in provided plans and proposing alternative solutions to clients About You CAD Software experience preferable but not necessary Experience in Framecad software would be highly regarded but not necessary Experience in frame, truss and structural steel detailing would be highly regarded but not necessary Ability to read and interpret building plans preferable but not necessary Understanding of industry codes preferable but not necessary Knowledge of general construction processes, including roof truss and wall frame construction preferable but not necessary Have a high level of attention to details & accuracy, and take pride in your work Ability to work to set time-frames High level problem solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team What We Offer Software training where required Ongoing mentoring, career development and training A fun and energetic workplace A flexible, inclusive and diverse workplace Remuneration Salary will be agreed upon by your skill set, experience and attitude.
