Sell‑Side Trader – Digital Assets | Sydney (Onsite) About the Business A leading institutional trading desk specialising in digital assets and OTC execution. The firm provides liquidity, pricing, and risk management solutions to a network of corporate, high‑net‑worth, and institutional clients across APAC. Role Overview This is a client‑facing sell‑side trading role, focused on OTC execution and relationship management. You'll manage client flow, quote and hedge positions, and work closely with liquidity partners to ensure competitive pricing and flawless execution. The role combines trading performance, risk control, and client engagement, while contributing to the continual improvement of trading tools and processes. Key Responsibilities Quote and execute OTC trades across major digital assets with precision and discretion. Manage daily P&L and risk exposure, ensuring adherence to trading limits. Provide liquidity and competitive pricing to institutional and HNW clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with liquidity providers, brokers, and counterparties. Oversee trade booking, reconciliation, and post‑trade processes. Identify market opportunities and support infrastructure enhancements for the desk. Mentor and collaborate with junior traders to strengthen desk capability. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in sell‑side or client execution trading, ideally across crypto, FX, or related fast‑moving markets. Strong grasp of OTC trading mechanics, pricing models, and hedging strategies. Practical knowledge of custody, settlement, and wallet infrastructure. Excellent relationship management skills and commercial awareness. Confident communicator able to engage directly with clients, liquidity partners, and internal teams. Detail‑oriented approach to execution, risk control, and reporting accuracy. Compensation & Location Onsite role based in Sydney (no hybrid or remote).
