Part time Enhanced Response Service Support Workers The Enhanced Response Service is a fast‑paced service providing support to service users who trigger their telecare alarm and responding to non‑injured falls. Working alongside the ambulance service, we promote independence and signpost service users to partnership teams, delivering care in a person‑centred way. This part‑time role requires flexible working – regular morning, evening and weekend shifts, and the ability to travel across Cambridgeshire. The post is based at Hereward Hall, March and is advertised for 14.75 to 18 hours per week. For more information or to chat about this opportunity please contact Claire Hodge, Team Manager on or Gillian Sproule on . Responsibilities Our ERS Support Workers assist with all personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, catheter care, feeding, meal preparation and medication. We respond to falls and telecare alerts, providing reassurance and practical assistance in coordination with Fire & Rescue and Ambulance. You will apply learning from adult protection, diversity and the Mental Capacity Act, and recognise and report any situations, incidents or concerns in line with council policy. You will liaise effectively within the team and with other agencies – for example assistive technology or health colleagues – to ensure the service is delivered effectively. You will also complete written and electronic documentation regarding service‑user care in accordance with CCC policy. Qualifications and Experience You will need previous experience of working within a care environment, preferably within adult social care. An NVQ Level 2 Care qualification or equivalent is required, and you will be willing to work towards Level 3. Basic literacy, numeracy and good IT skills are necessary to update electronic data and case records. The role involves travelling across Cambridgeshire using CCC pool vehicles which are manual‑drive; therefore a full manual driving licence is required. Benefits Comprehensive wellbeing package covering all aspects of wellbeing, both in and out of work, and accessible to family. Up to 4 weeks additional annual leave (pro‑rata) through our salary sacrifice scheme. Flexible bank holiday take to suit personal circumstances. Additional Voluntary Contributions to your pension with tax and National Insurance savings. Opportunities to nominate and receive Employee Recognition Awards. Our Cambs Rewards account, giving access to in‑store and online discounts and our Car Lease and Cycle to Work schemes. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion We are proud to serve a diverse community. We are a Disability Confident Leader and provide reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process. All applicants who disclose a disability and meet the essential criteria will be offered an interview under a Guaranteed Interview Scheme. We support applicants who need adjustments such as additional time, larger font or line spacing and encourage contact with the hiring manager to discuss adjustment needs. Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 and will require a Disclosure and Barring Service check to verify previous convictions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
