Product Engagement Coordinator Department: Product Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Melbourne Description We're looking for a Product Engagement Coordinator to manage and scale our in-platform customer engagement program. In this role, you'll be responsible for how we communicate with customers about their accounts, products, and investment opportunities – delivering personalised content, notifications, and insights that drive meaningful engagement. You’ll inherit an active and growing engagement program that's scaling rapidly as we expand into superannuation, introduce new account types, and broaden our investment offerings. This is a role with significant room to grow, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact to how we engage investors from within the product team. The ideal candidate doesn't need extensive experience, but brings an interest in investing, professional communications background, a sharp eye for detail and technology, and a passion for quality customer experiences. Role Responsibilities Product Engagement Strategy & Execution Support the execution of in-app content, messages, notifications, and product discovery features. Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to help bring new features and campaigns to life. Use personalisation, testing, and automation tools to improve customer engagement over time. Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to ensure communications are consistent and on-brand. Platform Communications & Scale Assist in launching new account types, products, and updates across the platform (e.g. superannuation, new investment options) Help manage and organise in-app communications as the platform grows in complexity. Use dashboards and reporting tools to track performance, pull key insights, and share summaries with the team. Growth & Improvement Contribute to ongoing improvements in customer activation, retention, and product discovery. Support initiatives that help grow assets under management (AUM) by improving user experience and engagement touchpoints. Learn and experiment with automation, AI tools, and other technology that helps us scale effectively. Stay curious about industry trends, customer behaviour, and ways to enhance the investor experience. Support personalisation efforts by helping us understand different customer segments and behaviours. Be part of shaping Betashares Direct’s long-term growth in the direct-to-consumer investing space. Skills & Experience An interest in investing, finance, or helping people make better money decisions. Some experience in communications, marketing, product, UX, or a related field. Sharp eye for detail and comfort working with technology and digital platforms. Enthusiasm for creating clear, helpful, and user-friendly customer experiences. Familiarity working with data - able to pull basic reports, spot patterns, and generate insights. Experience with personalisation, A/B testing, marketing automation tools, or a willingness to learn. Strong collaborator who can work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
