With unprecedented levels of spending occurring in Australia for Dams, our Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) Dams group is growing the team to service our current and future commitments.We are keen to hear from Dams specialists who are interested in joining the high-performing team and working across a range of Dams focused projects, from long-term Dam Safety Upgrade Programs to the detailed design of some of Australia's largest nation shaping projects.Our ANZ Team works as a truly national practice, and you have the opportunity to be based in either our Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle or Melbourne office.What will a day in this role look like:Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structuresConceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of damsInspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing damsConstruction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reportingPreparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring.Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.What are we looking for from you?Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dams industryYou are positive, and see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and growExcellent written and verbal communication skillsYou enjoy developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associationsA degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential).If you are an experienced Dams professional looking to take the next step in your career, or you are coming from another country to establish yourself in Australia, we would love to hear from you.
