Job Description Chef and Restaurant Manager Spritz Spizzicheria, Italian restaurant located in Mount Hawthorn, is looking for a full time experienced Chef and Restaurant Manager to join their team. Chef Duties Planning menus, studying each recipe and gathering all necessary ingredients Estimating food/menu costs and managing the budget Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures Preparing and cooking food in a timely manner Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area Hiring, training and managing kitchen staff Checking freshness of food and monitoring food stock Managing stock levels and placing orders Preparing a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment Delegating tasks to kitchen staff Ensuring appealing plate presentation and assuming responsibility for the quality of products served Qualifications Relevant qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role Great knowledge of Italian cuisine and excellent management skills Restaurant Manager Duties Menu planning in collaboration with the head chef Managing day-to-day operation of the business reporting to the owner Managing budget and cash deck transactions Meeting and coordinating with suppliers and vendors in alignment with the business budget and quality standards Ordering stock and goods Ensuring all areas are organized and well presented in accordance with the health and safety policies and procedures Hiring and training new staff and managing the rosters Managing and addressing customer complaints and suggestions Restaurant Manager Qualifications Relevant qualification or 3 years of experience in lieu of the qualification At least 1 year of experience in the relevant role Excellent management skills Good time management and customer service skills Ability to work under pressure Location: Mount Hawthorn WA 6016 Position: Full-time (at least 38 hours per week) Salary: $76,000 – 90,000 per year Get Your Visa posted on behalf of Spritz Spizzicheria #J-18808-Ljbffr
