Director - Australia at Amida Recruitment Ltd Market leading and growing civil, bulk earthworks and demo contracting business Challenging & varied projects from $2.5m up to $100m, excellent pipeline, blue chip clients Great career progression & company culture, must have strong communication skills Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as earthworks, demolition, excavation, piling, retention, foundations etc. Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Engineer / Project Engineer to join their growing business. Our client provides its services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects. Types of projects include build earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5m to $25m but can go up to $50m+. Candidate must have civil experience and ideally bulk earthworks experience. Projects are in Brisbane. Responsibilities Working on tenders Planning and scheduling of construction activities Management of site project teams Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management Preparation of management reports Resolving site issues in a timely manner Liaising with key clients and stakeholders Coordinating internal and external resources Qualifications and Requirements Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar 3 – 5+ years’ experience on civil projects, must have bulk earthworks experience Project management qualifications will be advantageous Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach Effective problem-solving abilities Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations High level of organisation and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click on “Apply” to submit your resume.
