Salesforce Developer

Australian Citizens residing in Australia only respond. As a Salesforce developer, you will implement and deliver solutions to meet clients business requirements in a project delivery team. You will collaborate with the Solution Lead to prepare designs. You will use out-of-the-box features and config over code whenever possible and meet best practice when customising with code. You will work closely with the business analyst to ensure that your releases meet business acceptance criteria, and work closely with the tester to ensure your releases meet quality assurance standards. You will work with the release manager to perform releases through the DevOps pipeline and meet quality standards at each step. Previous work experience with application and software development within a large ICT environment, of Software Development practice Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platforms Preference for experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) Working knowledge of Visual Studio Code, mavensMate or eclipse Deep understanding of SDLC principles and the software development lifecycle, including Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues Knowledge and experience of the following is an advantage: Health ICT environment, Siebel/Oracle, Salesforce/Mulesoft, CRM, Agile, Waterfall. Engage with architects, designers, and testers to identify delivery challenges early on. Provide guidance to developers for rapid development using prototyping. Ensure code quality and adherence to Salesforce best practices. Functional and technical expertise to develop technical design specifications for Salesforce software and database solutions; Role Responsibilities: Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices. Translate application designs into functional configurations and code, in line with development and configuration standards.
