Overview Balmain Hospital is a community-based healthcare facility that has been caring for local people since 1885. The Hospital Assistant Grade 2 role involves cleaning the hospital, moving patients and equipment between areas, and disposing of waste. Responsibilities Clean various hospital areas. Move patients and equipment between areas. Collect and dispose of waste safely. Ideal Candidate Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen, read, speak and understand what is required of you. Able to follow instructions and complete tasks without being supervised. Previous cleaning experience, including using cleaning machinery like floor polishers, or demonstrated ability to perform in the role.
