Position Overview The Trustee for Empowher Women's Health Trust – Benowa QLD presents a rare and exciting opportunity for a permanent part‑time Senior Medical Receptionist to work in an intimate obstetric and women’s health care clinic. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8am‑5pm, 3 days a week. Location: Benowa, QLD. Responsibilities Front reception and patient support Email and phone communication, managed professionally and effectively Patient/HiCaps billing Appointment management and tasks to ensure specialist’s day is managed effectively Facilitating patient theatres Follow up and triaging patient referrals and bookings Procedure and patient care quotes Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to support patient care Maintain detailed and confidential patient records Communicating with doctors, clinical staff, including external third parties such as hospital employees, pathologies, GP clinics, radiology clinics, key hospital stakeholders, and other specialist clinics General office duties including managing a fast‑paced work environment Provide daily administrative support to ensure seamless clinic operations Uphold a welcoming, tidy, organized and professional work environment Qualifications 2+ years medical reception and/or administration experience in a fast‑paced environment Gentu experience (highly desirable) Exceptional time management and multi‑tasking skills Effective management of day, can prioritize and assess urgency of situations at hand Exceptional communication skills, to engage with a multitude of patients and/or stakeholders Strong computer skills and can adapt to multiple databases and systems Show empathy, compassion and support in difficult situations Work autonomously while ensuring all duties are attended to with great attention to detail Thrive in a busy and engaging environment Applicants are invited to submit a resume and cover letter detailing the skills and experience you will bring to our practice.
