Machine Operator with PLASTIC EXTRUSION - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Mid to Late January Start As a Machine operator at Plastic Recycling Hub, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the day‑to‑day requirements of managing a recycling plant. Our high end extruders are able to process a range of plastic materials including HDPE, PP, PVC, PE100 and LDPE. As an experienced operator we need you to know how to manage the day‑to‑day operations in producing plastic pellets. Minimum 3‑5 years of extrusion experience is required. Forklift license is required; we can help obtain it at your own cost. Sponsorship is available for qualified candidates without current Australian work rights. Responsibilities General maintenance of the machine. Understanding troubleshooting and basic repairs. Identify problems and deliver solutions. Attention to detail is required. Experience in blending plastics to create new products (performance bonus). Maintain a clean and organised environment (must). Deep understanding of WHS standards to keep the environment safe. Good communicator, willing to educate team members. Engage with suppliers and fitters to assist with repairs and maintenance. Use numerous hand tools (drills, saws, table saws, etc.). Expert proficiency with hand tools. Proactive in keeping your environment safe and clean. Machine operating. Willing to grow with the company. Don’t mind getting hands dirty.
