Finance Business Analyst

The roleThis position upholds the perspective of the CFO group while serving the organisation's objectives by supporting key business initiatives/projects. Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Initiatives, this position will be responsible for driving solutions that enable the organisation’s vision, strategy, and objectives.
Key responsibilities will include:Leading the preparation and evaluation of business cases for capital investmentsAssessing financial feasibility of strategic projects (ROI, NPV, etc.)Guiding investment decisions by providing relevant financial analysisDeveloping and implementing risk mitigation strategiesDeveloping and maintaining financial models to support project planningPreparing budgets and forecasts for capital and strategic projectsConducting variance analysis, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysisEnhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial modelling, financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Skills & experience requiredBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (finance, commerce…)Background in corporate finance, investment banking, or consultingAdvanced financial modelling skills coupled with excellent commercial acumenAbility to think strategically, synthesize and solve complex problemsStrong communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
