The Team: Population Screening and Cancer Prevention oversees the delivery of the three national population cancer screening programs to the Tasmanian population, including breast, bowel and cervical cancer screening. The business unit also delivers the Tasmanian Diagnostic Breast Imaging Service, anew service that provides public diagnostic breast imaging to Tasmanians. Currently, it provides care to patients requiring diagnostic breast imaging as part of their public episode of care but intends to be expanded to include referrals from GPs for patients with symptoms. The Role: The System Administrator works collaboratively with Diagnostic Breast Imaging (DBI) and more broadly with Population Screening and Cancer Prevention (PSCP) to ensure ongoing operational management of hardware, peripherals, and health software, including configuration and maintenance of systems such as Radiology Information System (RIS) with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). You will need: Provide high level specialist support to stakeholders by helping with the settings configuration, maintenance, and documentation of PSCP applications such as RIS-PACS, Sectra-PACS, Concerto, and other applications to meet operational needs. Liaise with stakeholders to understand business unit processes, workflows, accreditation, and target outcomes and identify opportunities for system modifications, configurations and quality improvements to increase efficiencies, effectiveness and safety. Liaise with Health ICT, internal and external stakeholder to ensure system documentations and support processes (including user manuals) are up to date.
