CSSD Technician Healthscope Job Type: Full time – Monday to Thursday 8pm‑6am (PM shifts) Pay: $28.41/hr – $34.37/hr plus superannuation Shift: Night shift (Monday to Thursday) About the Role Brisbane Private Hospital is currently seeking a full time CSSD Technician to join our dynamic perioperative team working Monday to Thursday nights. Key Responsibilities Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas Comply with AS/NZ standards , GENCA Operate, interpret and document all machinery operational requirements Report and document all quality activities Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes Essential Criteria Sound knowledge of AS/NZ Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation Completed or willing to study Cert III in Sterilisation Experience with tracking systems Endoscopy reprocessing experience or willingness to learn Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Intermediate computer literacy skills – including MS Office and various databases Interest in promoting best practice patient care Focus on professional development About Us Brisbane Private is a 181 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 17 operating theatres conveniently located above the Roma Street Parklands.
