CSSD Instrument Technician – Healthscope Join to apply for the CSSD Instrument Technician role at Healthscope. About The Role Holmesglen Private Hospital located in Moorabbin is seeking an experienced grade 2 or 3 CSSD Technician to join our CSSD theatre team on a casual basis. The role requires availability to work a minimum of one shift per week between Monday and Friday. You can expect to work on average 1 to 3 shifts per week. Shift times are 7:00am-3:00pm and 2:30pm-10:30pm. Key Responsibilities Thermal disinfection inspection, packaging and sterilising of all instrumentation for theatre and other clinical areas Comply with AS/NZ standards , GENCA Operate, interpret and document all machinery operational requirements Report and document all quality activities Ensure priority of instrumentation and processes Essential Criteria Certificate III in Sterilisation Grade 2 or Grade 3 Sterilisation Technician Must be available for a minimum of one 8‑hour shift per week Monday‑Friday Sound knowledge of AS/NZ Demonstrated knowledge of instrumentation Experience with tracking systems Experience in Endoscopy, Setup and handling loan equipment, or willingness to learn Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Intermediate computer literacy skills – including MS Office and various databases Interest in promoting best practice patient care Focus on professional development Why Healthscope?
