In 2023, we proudly merged with Early Links, professionals in allied health and early intervention teaching who support over 1,400 children and youth. Together, we support almost 1,800 individuals of all ages, empowering them to achieve their goals and dreams. The Opportunity We are seeking a Business Support Officer to join our Maitland office on a permanent full‑time basis. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to provide critical support to our team of therapists as well as delivering administrative support to the wider organisation. The BSO will also facilitate client services to participants and their families. Key Responsibilities Providing administration support to therapists across the organisation. Managing the therapy schedule, including booking and cancelling appointments as required. Switchboard management and reception services. Administrative support including but not limited to data entry, mail duties, printing, filing and binding. Managing room and resource bookings. Assisting therapists in travel and accommodation bookings. Processing HICAPS and Medicare refunds. Prioritisation of tasks set by therapists, supervisors, and other stakeholders. Any ad hoc duties as required. About You Excellent written and verbal communication, consultation and negotiation skills. Proficient time management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to building and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Maintains a positive, respectful, and professional attitude at all times. Previous experience in a similar health related role preferred. Essential Requirements Qualifications and / or relevant experience in a related discipline. NDIS Worker Screening Check. Current Working with Children Check for paid employment.
