8D/6R - FIFO ex PerthWe are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in powering the future of mining operations. Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, this position will suit an Electrical Engineer experienced within a fixed plant ore processing environment.Key Responsibilities

Ensure the OPF and CHF plants are electrically operational to achieve reliable throughputProvide technical support to all plant faults / break down eventsWork closely with Operations/Maintenance teams on breakdown by providing specialist technical supportLiaise with Operation and Maintenance teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities.Perform root cause analysis, mitigate reoccurrence of breakdownManage small to medium size projects, overlooking project deliveryMonitoring Asset Management KPI's, identify gaps in performance and recommend actions to resolve

Qualifications and Experience

Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience preferably in Fixed Plant Ore Processing.Proven experience with leading root cause analysis investigations.Detailed knowledge of principles and concepts related to operating and maintaining Fixed Plant and HV reticulation assetsPrevious experience with VSDs, Protection relays and Power system analysis.Experience working with Control Systems, Switchgear, Instrumentation, HV/LV Motors, Variable Speed Drives, Protection Relays and PLC'sDemonstrated competency in use of SAP.Our Commitment
