The role and key duties Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest standards. Work closely with senior chefs in your section to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain a clean, organised workstation and follow all health and safety guidelines. Support daily kitchen operations, including stock rotation and inventory management. Help control wastage and portion sizes while upholding quality standards. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment. Essential criteria required to be considered Ability to understand & deliver on our guests expectations; Passion for culinary excellence and continuous improvement, and industry knowledge of food health & safety; Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, strong communication and teamwork skills and be able to multitask with a high attention to detail; Willingness to commence work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays; Reliable vehicle to get to and from the hotel; Located close or a willingness to relocate.
